Crusaders Celebrate End of Historic Season
The 2019-2020 Bergen Catholic hockey season officially came to end with the annual Year-End Dinner held on March 12th at Seasons. There was plenty to celebrate as the Varsity team completed its most successful season since 2003 with an 18-5 record and the Junior Varsity squad followed suit with an outstanding 15-4-2 finish.
It was also time for the year-end team awards. For the Junior Varsity squad, Tyler Ugliono was awarded the top defenseman, Garrett Kata was the top forward, Joseph Garcia was selected as the hardest worker and Matthew Hughes was Most Valuable Player.
For the Varsity team, from left: Nicholas Stoebling (Bergen Catholic Award for Leadership, Dedication and Sportsmanship), Aram Minnetian (Matt Radoslovich Award for Most Points), Jake Antonucci (Jason May Award for Top Defenseman), Tommy Olson (Coach Keough Award for Hardest Worker), Brendan McCaskey (Most Valuable Player)
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to our players and coaches, BEST OF LUCK to our returning and incoming players on next season's campaign and GOD SPEED to our graduating Seniors!
